well i never new how cool apollos were. this one came up on cl near me and im now a proud owner of a 73 custom . couldnt say no ! im not looking forward to a hunt for the parts needed . but maybe ill get lucky . if anyone here is near norcal and has any of the stuff i need let me know .
I have a grill and header panel. I'm in northern Vt, but willing to ship. Pm me your email address and I can send pics.
What engine does that thing have in it? You'd be surprised about parts. A lot of GM models used the same catalog. I can pull that rear bumper from an olds in the junkyard right now. Pretty sure it's still there because nobody has the right tools to take it off I wonder if the front end is the same as well... You know what I'm going to try and pull the front bumper for you saturday, I bet it's the same.
i wonder ,are the hoods all different ? a good body man could possibly save mine .but im sure i cant . how about fenders ?as to engine its a 350/350 2v .mtr seems very strong . fries one tire pretty good for a antique worn out 2v
I believe the entire front clips are all different, glass, doors, quarters, and trunks are the same for the same years. I could be wrong. newmexguy knows.
thnx ,dumb question after opening my eyes ! the offer up sounds good but old ad and i dont know how to get in touch . dont do facebook . palmdale is propbably 700 mi as well
I went and checked this out about a year ago. Front clip was already gone. I cut part of the tail panel out and that’s about all I could use from it.
im still in the hunt if anyone has any info on parts or parts car in the n. cal. area . or i can go the other way if someone else wants a cool project . i hate to see it just sitting out in the sun/snow and catastrofic wild fires !
I will keep an eye out around here(southern NM). I was just able to pick up a complete 75 skylark parts car that is in as good as or better shape than the one I already have.
all the eyes are appreciated . a whole parts car would be best .there arnt many left , or many ever . but ill bet someone has one out behind the barn !! rotting !!!
