I just wanted everyone to get this on your calendar. The Puget Sound Chapter of the BCA will be holding the 14th Annual All Buick Open in Puyallup, Washington, Saturday June 9th.

This show has grown to one of the largest Buick shows on the West Coast, and the premier Buick event in the Pacific Northwest with 125 - 175 cars in attendance each year.

This show is a great primer before the 2007 BCA Nationals held in Bellevue. I believe there may be an opportunity to have your car go through a "mock" 400 point judging so that you know what you need to fix before the Nats! (space limited).

Contacts are Brian Laurance - ("Centurion" here on the board) 253-864-0722 or Doug Wolford - 253-770-1413. If you are a BCA member the pre-registration entry fee is $10.00, Non BCA member $12.00, Day of Show registration is $14.00. We hope to see you there.

Address is 115 2nd Avenue SE, Puyallup WA in case anyone is using Mapquest for directions. It's at the site of the old Wilen-Cornforth Buick dealer. There are always lots of Buicks new and old.

Show starts at 10, but parking starts at 8 or earlier. If you don't get there until 10 or later you probaby won't get to park with similiar model cars. Awards at 4, I think voting closes at 1 or 2 (takes a while to count the votes).

Participant ribbons, Peer Judging, 1st, 2nd and 3rd awards in all classes. Lots of good food and fun, and there is a street fair going on, so all the stores are open, and there are arts and crafts booths, food booths, BEER GARDEN , live bands, inflatable toys for the kids, etc., perfect for those that don't want to spend all day looking at Buick's (not sure who that would be).

There are about 20 different classes, so there is something for everyone!

They are renovating downtown Puyallup so the parking arrangement will be a little different than usual, and you will have to enter the show about 1 block north of last year. Please be patient with the folks putting on the show!

Hope to see you all there!

You can arrive as early as 7am for parking even though the fliers say 8am as I will be ready by that time to park anyone who shows up.
Thanks Chris for getting this posted

The BCA has now set up a secure membership link, allowing you to join or renew online with a credit card.

    Go to: www.buickclub.org

Look on the upper left-hand side of the home page, and you will see the secure membership link. Alternatively, you can print out the form and mail in your application.

I think that you will notice a great improvement in the "Bugle" magazine since you were last a member. Pete Phillips, the new editor, is a true Buick guy, and it really shows in the publication.

The puyallup show is great but I can't make it again this year. Too far from southern Nevada. But I encourage anyone that can make it to do so, as someone else said it is one of the best shows on the west coast.:TU:
One word of caution be careful of the beer garden. My friend John Curtis
(71 Centurian Conv.) and I had to recruit a couple of designated drivers to get us home after too many rounds of a micro brew called Safari Amber.
The sad part of that story is John won second place in stock Buick and had to have someone else claim the prize for him.:Dou: Its a great show.
