Hi all. I need to replace the rear deck filler panel (trunk to rear window panel) on my 1964 Skylark. I incorrectly thought (my bad) Chevelle would use the same panel and ordered one for a Chevelle but it is very different. Same profile, but about 3 inches too wide. Now I'm wondering if the other A Body siblings may have shared the same panel. Lemans/Tempest/GTO is reproduced and looks much closer. Can anyone confirm/deny this?
Buick is all by itself form 68-72,...not sure on 64-67 Call Sundell auto in Shelby NC ask for Eric,..he can fix you up with the part or the interchange options
Yes, GTO panel will fit your Skylark. Also fits Olds. Chevelle is the oddball. Same goes for 64-5 and 66-67 styles. Same goes for the trunk floor.... Chevelle is shorter than Buick/Olds/Pontiac. www.65gs.com is a great source for 64-66 info!
Thanks good to know! You can imagine the "Oh sh!t" look on my face when I realized the panel wasn't the same. I was worried for a minute that I might have to make it work but if the others are the same, I know Lemans/Tempest/GTO is reproduced so I should be safe.
