Why done with CSU carb and boost stuff? Was planning on exactly that, CSU carb on the twin turbo 455 Skylark I’m building - complete with Stage 2 TE and SPX.

I went sniper EFI ,I'm not a carb guru and could never get the afr right. Either good at normal driving and sucked at wot or the other way arround.
+ I have the HOLLEY HYPERSPARK dizzy thatsetup gives me FULL timing control and I can tweak my tune with the free holley software + data log. It simply works.

Sure - if you’re already there with the hyper spark you can do quite a bit. I went power grid myself but am looking at an external logger..

Don’t mean to hijack - the twin turbo Skylark I bought came with custom exhaust manifolds mild steel. Want SS personally, but that’s a future upgrade for some future time..

I never had a CSU carb ...I had a simple blowthrough 4150 750cfm. Even though I don't think a "CSU" IS anything different really. So since a csu cost the same as sniper efi my decission was easy. I like it

I have perfect air fuel ratios with 5 psi or 20 psi using my CSU carb. My other CSU carb is for E-85 and it made over 1000 hp to the wheels on my friends 5.3 LS with good heads. He then swapped on $$$$ EFI and hit the same HP but no gain.

My E-85 CSU was $1295, but no computer was why I made that choice.

pics of either SBB or BBB are appreciated turbo manifolds. Also, material sourcing for pipe and flanges, both mild and SS. also opinions around schedule 10 vs 14 gauge?

I answer according of how I understand your lil reply..
I didn't expect anything for free!!

Compared to most I will try to build something. Will it work? Will it fail?

But in this buick community (for most) talk is all they can. Since years people debating on turbo setups for the BBB but nobody ever did anything ( at least not that I know off)
So IF there is any critics keep it for yourself since I know you wouldn't critics me in person.

Start your own thread for your build. Boe started this thread looking for information and now you've hijacked it with your own personal build. That's just rude.

...and yes I would say it to your face.

general comment about heads. I've always thought stage 2 heads afford more space for exhaust. Is anyone out there with turbo exhaust on Stage 2 heads?

Give Ed a call Boe.. he has forgotten more about building headers than most of us will ever know..

    http://www.headersbyed.com/

I am sure he has done turbo headers in the past.. he can help you with materials, flanges, and is a walking encyclopedia when it comes to headers.

    Tell him I said Hi..

SBB... Started with Sanderson shorty headers, cut and modified the driver's side to fit around steering column. Passenger side untouched other than v-band flange welded on.

Thank you! Driver's side would probably been easier to fab from scratch.
