Max Damage I'm working on it!

When you say one of three from Fremont, does that mean '69 convertibles? 3 is a small number! Beautiful car.

Hi. 1 of 3 Fireglow convertibles built at Fremont.
I believe there were 20 built in total in that color . It was only offered in spring of 69. The car is painted in Twighlight blue which was a factory color in 69. It is an interesting paint in itself. Depending on the light , it goes from a dark blue to purplish , to all most black if it is an overcast or cloudy day.

    Do you have the numbers
Matching block in your car. Just curious if you do if yours is stamped in the front drivers side or where they say it should be in between the plugs. Freemont was known for stamping the vin on the front especially if it was a late build for 69?

Patrick- here is a preview of the 68 Wildcat...Desert Beige , buckets, short console. Driven off the trailer then I took it apart for a possible 455 upgrade...
now thinking to refresh the 430.

    Hey there
I’m looking for a good running 430 for my 69 Electra if you’re going for an upgrade to 455 or if you know anyone that is looking to sell one or rebuild mine I’d appreciate it. Not having much luck around here. I’m near NYC Either way let me know if you can

Very cool, Ted! Mine was originally code V, Dark Grey Gold Metallic-isn’t that what your LeSabre ragtop is? It had been painted red when I got it. Also attached is the bartender’s convertible.

Cool. Are you planning to repaint the scratched on its hood?

Well, I'm no purist. Here's my GS tribute, started as a Special, blew the 350 so I put in a 455. Working on my snorkel air filter and have a floor shift dash cluster I'd like to swap this winter (quicksilver shifter). 20211003_120755.jpg

I’ve got another hood for that…the right front fender needs help too. Looks like there was a battery fire.

My 1968 Buick gs 400 4-speed. Took original motor out and built a 455. It’s been a fun hobby so far and look forward to the next project with the car.
