Going to give TA a call and see how its going over there. I know more now how upside down everything is with the economy, workers, SKILLED workers, parts availability, etc, things are a changing Anyhow, I was thinking of just having them ship the heads with the bigger valves installed, seats machined, etc. and foregoing the level 2 port job. I have to find out first where the hold up is, if its parts, or a labor issue. I do feel bad for TA, there ALWAYS very thorough in helping with parts, info, and pointing you in the right direction. There a family run business catering mostly to a niche market relying on skilled labor for machining, foundries, transportation industry, hell, the automakers are jammed up, let alone the smaller businesses. I lost my job this past April, Im back to work now and LOVING IT! I love working, using my hands and mind to get the job done. Be interesting to know how many Americans are receiving unemployment, and WHY
They have tons of heads. They just don’t have any that are machined and ready to ship. They likely have 50 sets 350 of heads still, maybe more.
Talked to Tim at TA, he seemed in better spirits today. Anywho, my heads are in process, on the CNC machine aluminum is flying.
Yes. TA is trying to keep parts moving. Took months to get my shorty headers. Due to coved and their header builder. Now no roller cam cores. I really need a TA413 HYD. ROLLER. So we wait and hope something happens soon Congrads on the heads. Your going to love them.
