Just look for our trailer with the dragster under the awning. If we have new parts out, that is where they will be. As we get closer I will put up a picture of the trailer and our location at BG

The foundry is now working on our Wildcat block. We should have castings in 2-3 weeks if all goes well!

I'm potentially interested in an iron block. This business of trying to find a usable factory block is tiring.

Oh goodie so then I can twist my frame, with worrying about blowing a hole through my oil pan. I've always wanted to bend a frame

Trailer is at the house in Maine. Had too many shipping and parts issues to get the car running. Left Maine yesterday afternoon and just about to Nashville now to get my new fuel system. We will be in BG later today for the W.O.T meeting. PM me a contact number and I'll contact you tomorrow if we don't see you tonight

Pattern work is no problem. Foundries are quoting next year. If anyone knows of foundries that will do 25 or less blocks both iron or aluminum at a time after a few prototypes let me know. Including new start up foundries!

I’m sure if Ken would reach out to them they would let him know

They have been very evasive. When we get the Buick block maybe we will do an olds! lol

You may want to call and talk to John Stolpa, who is the owner of Rocket Racing and Performance in Big Bend Wisconsin. I have dealt with him and have seen his New Oldsmobile block in person. The display block I saw was in a glass case in the front window and looks fabulous. John and I had talked a while back about having his crankshaft supplier make Buick crankshafts for us but that never came to fruition.
Of course I can't say whether he would share any foundry information but it may be worth a try.

I referenced the Oldsmobile rocket block a few pages back on this thread. Ken alluded to the fact that I guess he reached out to them and they were being evasive. I’m sure Ken knows who cast the block. Anyone who’s been following this can see there’s just a lot of BS going on. If KBR was serious about doing this it would’ve been done. We’ve heard just about every excuse. All you have to do is go back to the beginning and read about everything that was going to happen. Not trying to start anything just call it as I see it. It doesn’t do our Buick community any good to have somebody come out and talk about all the the New innovative products that are coming out and not deliver. I know KBR came out with a 90 lb crankshaft. How are they selling?

Tom have you ever tried to get a project like this going? How much time and money did you spend knowing you weren't going to get it back?
Ken has put a great deal of time, a crazy amount of money, and more of himself into this than one could imagine.
Ken is pretty good at handling disappointments as they keep coming and he keeps pushing forward through them.
The foundry issue is hard as to be taken seriously, as in earn a spot in line you are committing to a minimum order of 25 blocks. He will be doing that when one of these Foundries isn't trying to overprice his product. Ken is trying to put these products out to the Buick crowd at a price they can afford. Not 5 of the high dollar guys but to the average Buick guy that wants to go faster safely and affordably as possible.
Ken is also not the only person working on these projects with KBR in our Buick community.
Encouragement goes a long way towards these projects moving forward.

This is a good question, I've called 3 times in the past couple of weeks to get no one answering, no return call after leaving message. This to me comes across like you don't want to sell one.

I can't imagine how hard or expensive it is to bring this to life.......but the crank is something the website is saying they are here. Guess its time to.look elsewhere

I have one of the crank shafts. I believe it may be the first off the line.

I didn’t put any money up. I certainly have spent enough and supported the only other major Buick aftermarket company. But I also didn’t come on this website and talk about catalogs new parts etc. maybe Ken should keep his wish list to himself until his projects are completed and ready for the market. That would go along way To Ease the frustration
