As of this post (3-19-2021) The Muscle Car Hobby is going Crazzzzzy! If any of you ordered parts lately and were stuck with a bit of a delay it's because the Hobby is insanely busy right now. In part due to Covid and a lot of guys with more time on there hands to work on our Cars. . . . .

So with that being said, I've noticed most of the Vendors I deal with are taking longer to "Re-Stock" the parts I order. This post today is in regards to Wiring Harnesses. I use to be able to re-stock in 10 to 14 days through Lectric Limited. (Much better than some of the other Manufactures out there that are 6 to 10 weeks on average) Well that 10 to 14 days is now closer to 6 to 8 weeks! (again in part due to Covid) So if any of you guys reading this need Wiring Harnesses for any portion of your car expect to wait a bit.

I have a GOOD supply of 1970 - 1972 Harnesses in stock but they've been selling fast and it is now taking longer to restock the shelves so it's been a challenge to keep them in stock. I try and have 2 to 6 of any one product from them so I don't run out but as mentioned lately that's been a challenge.

I just received a big Re-Stock today so if anyone needs Harnesses let me know.

Contacted one place about the Wildcat and they requested I remove the old one and send to them to copy, 1600$. Thought , the one I have is all hacked up and I dont want my car to be down for months. Price is a bit steep as well

19175 is a Dash Harness. Those I do not stock because of the Cost and the fact that there are quite a few options when determining which one you need.
I can order them in though.

13740 is Engine Harness and in stock and priced at $185.00

13755 is the Forward Light Harness and in stock at $185.00

These are the modifications they offer for the Alternators:

Wire Harness Modification: Conversion To 1973-1985 SI Series Internally Regulated Alternator
    $80.00
    Part #: 34585

for use in stock generator/alternator original mounting location.

Wire Harness Modification: Conversion To H.e.i.
    $60.00
    Part #: 34590

GM H.E.I. (High Energy Ignition) style distributor

At there pricing I don't recommend adding them to the harness. Both are pretty easy to wire in at a much lower price . . . . . . But, they are available options.

Todd I tried M & H but they didn’t respond. I’m wondering if the starter wiring harness is for the 70 is close to the one I need for my 68 ?

I'm really not sure how the 68's are done but the 70, 71 & 72 has the Starter wires built into the Engine Harness..... (So to replace them properly you would purchase an Engine Harness)
Again, not sure how they did them in 1968 . . . . Maybe somebody else following this can chime in.
