Im selling a fairly complete 4 speed set up. Most, if not all the hard to find parts are here. What youll get is - 1- 9735581 bellhousing with trans mounting bolts 1- inspection cover 1- factory Hurst competition plus 4 speed shifter with correct 5335 handle (handle has nice chrome) and repro black "no pattern" ball 1- shifter mounting plate for trans 1-BB upper clutch rod (Correct repro) 1- set of factory 4 speed shifter rods 1-reverse lever for trans 1- bb Equalizer bar (z-bar) 1- lower juster rod (small block style but will function as intented) 1- small block style clutch fork 1- upper clutch rod boot retainer 1- outer z bar bracket for frame with correct coarse thread bolts 1- set 4 speed pedals with correct pads 1- big block fluwheel with flywheel bolts 1- M-20 wide raio Muncie P1C09A out of a 71 442. Good used trans. Nothing wrong with it. I will remove the side cover and let you inspect it Price is $2400 All the parts are used out of parts cars unless otherwise indicated. Naturally, the bell needs to be glass beaded, the clutch pedal hole is a little egged out like they all are and will need to be tig'ed up and redrilled. The parts missing are all readily available through Inline tube or other vendors. I really dont think its feasible to ship some of this stuff. Especially the trans. Parts are located on LI, NY. Approx 55 miles east of NYC.
I'll be posting some small block 4 speed stuff and some 68/69 style 4 speed shifter rods a little later
I know this is a long shot/pipe dream but if you decide to sell the 5335 handle/Muncie shifter I will buy them. Thanks
I'd help you. And by "helping" I mean drink your beer and make fun of you while you attempt to install it all. But seriously, I'd give u a hand and offer my sage advice
With me working this route full time and the Olds is taking up the rest it won't be easy. Let me call you and discuss tomorrow.
What the hell else does Jason have to do??? Hell, he almost has no cars left… might as well go out with one more 4 speed conversion under his belt… lol
Can someone show me what kind of bolt to use for the frame, to mount the z-bar hinge , is it a type of self tapping or is it just bolt and nut, there’s very little access to inside the frame.
