Where is everyone with their regals. And their half projects. What happened, posting more would be cool.

My son and I are leaving here in a few minutes to go on a 9 hour round trip to pick up a GN 8.5 3.42 posi rear for his 455 swapped 85 Regal. I'll try to post some pictures of his current 85 and his previous 79 Regal that we swapped a 350 into this evening when we get back.

I stopped posting because I felt like I was building my car wrong. Spent 3 years trying to get things working right, and when I finally did, I got told it didn't sound "V8-Y" enough. Kinda took the wind out of my sails, so I stopped posting and enjoyed what I built.

70 GMuscle, I just put a Cold Case radiator with a Derale shrouded fan in mine and it works really well. I can post some pics if you'd like.

The first start up video you posted a while back, it sounds very nice.

Cell phones are lousy at capturing sound as our ear's hear it.

    No need but thanks.
I got my friend a Chevy hhr fan assembly. He has it attached to his radiator. It’s a good set up with a shroud.

V8y, enough I got a regal with side pipes. Batches. And ye they scrape with the factory soft springs dont forget to mention sagging like 3 plus inches gna get a new set of 1 inch drop springs that are nice and tight let's see thos scrape then. And my neighbors hate me. Because my drive way is sandwiched between two buildings lmao

I appreciate that man, thanks. Everyone that sees it in person says it sounds good. However, I recently bottomed out on a driveway and smashed my driver side muffler up pretty good. So I've got an exhaust leak going for me, which is nice.

Your tips and car are sweet. I tossed around the idea of putting a boomtube on mine. But that would've gotten me some calls, I'm sure. I'm more interested in your side mirrors though. Are those the stock ones or aftermarket? I've been looking for a proper replacement for years now. I can only find the sport mirrors, and older GM style chrome ones.

After buying the Skyhawk I'm moving out of my V8 Regal. I offered her for sale as a complete ready to run 6 second car(- engine / trans) for 6K with no interest so I started striping it of all the good stuff. Its now down to around 2500$ and more will be coming off soon. When I get the rest of what I want off it will be a 1500$ shell.

My son and I started building his first Regal when he was 14 years old. It was a '79 that we found at Carlisle for $600. Two tone brown, v6 and ALOT of rust. After I spent all summer fabricating and welding in patch panels just about eveywhere I painted it blue in the back yard. We rebuilt a Buick 350 and TH350 then a 3.42 posi rear. He even saved up and put a Holley Sniper setup on it. That was his every day car until he hit some black ice and totaled it. By the end of the week after he wrecked it we found a gold '85 Regal with way less rust for $500. We saved as much as we could from the '79 and used it on the new car. I painted it white last year, bumpers and all. With some parts donations from my Dad, brother and myself we rebuilt a 464 for it and he dyed all the interior black. He absolutely loves this car. It has the Sniper fuel injection from the old car and GSFred sold us a Grand National 3.42 posi rear that we rebuilt and got a great deal on a GN hood from another board member. I'll have to try to find the picture of the new car when we brought it home. Anyway, here is his pride and joy. He is 18 now and worked on every single component of this build, he assembled the engine too. We are starting on re building a TH400 in the next few weeks.
