Thanks buddy. It's a good daily beater, gets driven every day it isn't nice enough to drive one of the "good cars", no matter how cold or how much snow there is on the ground. Always fires right up even at -20.

    1985 Dodge Ramcharger

    cylinders: 8 cylinders
    drive: rwd
    fuel: gas
    odometer: 44413
    title status: clean
    transmission: automatic

    NEED GONE ASAP!

I am selling my a rare muscle truck! RUNS AND DRIVES WELL! It's a dark blue 1985 Dodge Ramcharger AD150 5.2L V8 318CUI gasoline engine, with RWD and an automatic 3-speed gearbox. This rare old school muscle truck is a classic 3-door wagon that was MADE IN U.S.A. (unlike the Made in Mexico versions). The engine fires up right away, runs very smooth, and the car drive well! The car definitely needs some TLC, but it is ALL ORIGINAL. It has the ORIGINAL DRIVETRAIN (ENGINE, TRANSMISSION, DIFFERENTIAL), FRAME, BODY PANELS, ETC. There is some small surface rust on lower parts body and under the car, but it's solid overall. The odometer says 44,413, and it actually works (but it is only 5 digits), so it could be 144,413 (mileage was exempt on title so not sure). Awesome project car, or just give it some TLC and enjoy as is. The previous owner had the car for 20 years and this was his baby for much of that time. Previous owner told me the person he bought it from said it was previously used by the Jacksonville Jaguars to transport players and personnel in the 90s, which is pretty cool, but I haven't verified that.

CLEAN TITLE IN MY NAME, IN HAND!

    Pros
    - Newer starter (not sure exact date of install)
    - Decently new a battery from 01/2018
    - Comes with tons of exterior and interior trim pieces (including an old school Audivox 6' Color TV)
    - Comes with many little hardware parts, and extra headlight and high-beam switch that needs to be installed
    - Comes with extra set of 4 wheels 15x10 (need to be refinished, but they are great style solid wheels and were purchased separately for a few hundred bucks as-is)
    - Electronics on gauge cluster work

    Cons
    - Some small surface rust on lower parts body and under the car, but it's solid overall
    - Some small leaks going into car from top of windshield and doors
    - Various electronics in interior don't work
    - Radiator hose leak
    - Power steering hose leak (power steering works at times and not at other times)
    - Needs new tires (some tires are in better than others)

I cannot imagine financing a $90k truck or walking in and writing a check. I guess if I needed the tax write-off...

I get a text message yesterday afternoon. Random unknown number. says " Got the truck home today. Theres now a loud ticking noise from the bottom of the engine. Im afraid to restart it" Sorta had me concerned as the new buyer came in the morning and drove the truck about 100 miles home. I replied that I was glad it made the trip and asked what sort of noise. No reply for several hours. Then I get a note asking if I can come down and listen to it. Asked Who IS This? It was my neighbor a few blocks away. LOL, He'd mentioned he was getting a 90's RT from a family member several months ago and I forgot.

I agree there but still... I've seen just as, if not nicer ones for around $20k and thought that was a bit much. Nice used 15-25 y/o trucks w/100-150k mi. like this are bringing close to, if not more than what they sold for new. Not a bad deal for an orig. owner that kept one nice. All b/c new ones are so expensive.

Unfortunately my '92 IDI 5-sp. 4WD (Std. cab) beater truck, while still photogenic, is probably worth $2500 at most, which tbh IIRC is what I paid for it 20 years ago w/160k (now 295k) but I've put a ton of $ into it. Needs injectors/pump & or valve guides but other than that I'd drive it anywhere. 20201115_123111.jpg
