This guy manages to be both deceptive and honest in his listing for this car. How many "interesting" terms can YOU spot? My favorite is the dual meaning where he says the engine is blown, and one of the pics is this: 98 Buick Riviera $100 Vehicles › Cars Listed 2 weeks ago in Hagerstown, MD Details Condition Used - Like New Year: 1998 Make: [hidden information]93181 Model: [hidden information]01883 Trim: Coupe 2D Body style: sedan Exterior color: White Interior color: Tan Fuel type: Gasoline Mileage: 147000 If this post is up then it’s available!! Motor is blown!! Parting out whatever parts you want let me know I’ll take them off. Serious injuries only don’t message me if you’re not wanting something off the car I’m not answering questions unless it has to do with whatever part you want. Price is just to grab attention if you want a price for a something you can message me.
You're actually interested in this guy's "like new," 147K-mile parts car? All right: https://www.facebook.com/marketplac.../?ref=product_details&referral_code=undefined I'm sure Timmy B will be delighted to hear from you.
Nope, he doesn't include a phone number, you need to click on "message" to contact him. However, there can't be that many Timmy Bingham Jr.s in Hagerstown, MD, so it wouldn't be hard to use the Web to find his phone number. Always a chance he wouldn't mind such a call. Here are other pics from his ad, although I am still surprised you are seriously interested in his car. I only posted his ad for the comedy value.
My '71 Riv GS (black/black) was comfortable, too. Like driving while sitting on your couch. MPG was not good, though.
I remember the year the Reatta came out. The captain at my LEO dept. bought one, the first one I had ever seen. He would drive it to work most every day. I was jealous because it looked a lot sportier than my GS 400.
In the guys defense, other than some typos and coming off a bit cocky, I really don't see anything too objectionable with the ad. Maybe I'm missing something? Looks like the guy is just trying to part out a car. Was he the one who blew it up? I don't know, maybe. Maybe he works at a shop and bought it off a customer. I've done that a few times myself.
Check out this one...LOW miles! https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/113615753911782/?ref=search&referral_code=undefined
X2, my 98 is one of the best cars I have ever owned. I just turned 200K, engine has never been apart. Original transmission, shifts perfectly. They are very comfortable, and mine still gets great mileage. My best on a long trip is 31-32 MPG. It has been my daily driver since 2004. Mine has some significant rust from the northeast winters, but still rides great. I will keep this car as long as possible, it still looks great.
