We are waiting to finish a manifold, then the machine stock drawings. The foundry is ready to go and waiting on us.

We will be making a new intake when we remake Wildcat heads for street and race. We are designing a port that will flow 400 cfm plus with no expensive cnc or hand porting. They will be available with S2 and S1 exhaust. We are doing blocks and our Big Wildcat Head first. We do have ports in a head but that project won’t progress until the foundry has started the existing projects.

Not trying to bug you but I'm feeling hungry for some fresh info...

Do you have any updates or ETA's for deliveries to begin on the KBR Wildcat Cast Iron blocks??
Will the blocks be ready to go with standard prep work or will there be extensive specialized finishing and fitment necessary?? My apologies if this is all ground that has been well covered, but I don't have a FaceBalls account and most of the information I receive comes from
    V-8Buick.

I am patiently waiting while anxiously dreaming of a 555 cubic inch iron block with all the Buick accoutrements that will allow two moderately sized, or maybe just one HUGE turbo that cranks out 2500-3000 HP without a steady diet of spent head gaskets. My dream engine will definitely lose any propensity to display all of it's internal secrets to any and all onlookers in yard sale fashion!

Great flowing heads, a custom camshaft that will capitalize on that Buick Torque!

Am I dreaming?? Will I get to experience what I've only been imagining so far???

    :D:D:D

Just talked to my machinist who worked at the foundry we are using. He is trying to put finishing touches on the block. We are upgrading the block to use stock cams, 54mm, 55mm, 65mm cams and lifters over 1” plus the bushings.

    Ken,

Any feedback on block? Really holding back on my next engine to see this. My car will see more street than track, but would rather not girdle anymore.

    Thanks,

    Will

I’m talking to the shop today about a couple changes. I need 4 blocks myself so I’m pushing this as fast as they let me. I’ll keep you posted.

Thank you sir. I may know a good friend who would also want a block as well. We appreciate all you are doing for the Buick community. Much appreciated. I am praying blocks will be available early next year..

Any chance you will have an example of the new iron block ready to display at the Nats? I realize that bringing this product to the market is a huge challenge, especially with the COVID restrictions.
But it sure would be encouraging to those people waiting in line.

Kenny, Any timeframe as to when a standard block will be available? What cost will be? Can you pre-order?

We are planning to transfer cad file to the foundry this Thursday the 18th. They will look it over and start the process. Pouring the castings could happen very soon. The machining is already backed up and we will keep you posted whenever we get updates.

We will update info soon! Since we will stock several versions of the block we are hoping you won’t have to pre-order.

We will bring a raw casting if done, even if not machined in time.
