Would like to see a pic showing proper routing of the rear factory wiring under the rear seat and arm rest bases to courtesy lights And pump on 70/72 “A” body convertible. If anyone currently has their interior out or if u have a pic I would appreciate seeing the routing and clip placements / attaching points. I have the chassis and assembly manuals but would like to see an actual factory routing in the car. Thanks

I’m also running blind on this. I think I have it right but it would be nice to see a harness that is in its origins position.

The assembly manual does not cover this, and the body manual shows routing, but it’s very vague.

Not my car, but an old file pic of a GS. Found this looking for a pic of something else.

Thanks guys. Those retainers look similar to those on rear tail light assembly wires. I may have some I could rob off of some old wiring if u need some or m&h wiring supplied my wiring front to rear and they are good to deal with when it comes to wiring, Connectors , grommets etc Real good customer / technical service.

Looks like a good candidate for a 3D printed part.

If you guys locate those T clips, let me know...I could use a couple, too. I think the tail light clips are different. I know where to get the white ones closest to the bulb.

I pulled both oe wiring for tail lights and the rear courtesy wiring. The clips are different. I will contact m&h Tuesday. If they are avail individually I will see if I can get some and will mail some out to u guys. I’ll check my new wiring in the morning to see if the correct clips were installed on the new harness

You can see one of the white push pegs on my 70 GS on (in) the O/W wire at the bottom of the pic just to the left of the T clip. Terry's car (1969) has something different, my car has 3 of those push pins that hold the wire behind the seat back. The white ones near the bulbs are INL 11134 (Inline) and on ebay. Those are long gone. Now, I suspect they were there once upon a time.

Perfect...can you take a couple pics of the top frame and cylinder mountings too?

    Adam,
Not really sure what you want to see, but here's another couple. I'm thinking my pump lines are the ones Frank warned against buying. :p

Right, those are way too long, Mike. There's also air in them, it starts at the pump, you can see it in your first pic. Then you can see pockets of it, mainly that left line. Some cars have 4 of the clips to hold the lines. One to each side of the pump, and one on each side of the seat structure. Some cars have plastic straps to hold the lines to the pistons. I've had GTO and 442 'verts, so it's hard for me to remember which car has which parts, now.

Yep, mine has two clamps, one on each side. Just not installed. I just ordered a plug for the pump fill and haven't seemed to find the time to bleed it yet. I can tell you it's not quite right.

I checked my new harness from m&h and they do have the correct plastic retainers. I left a message with customer service to see if I can get some of those sent to me. I’ll let u guys know the outcome and mail u out some if available

How many of those are on the new harness, Mark? Does the new harness have the plastic push pins?
