Hey everyone does anyone know who makes a good full kit for suspension rebuild parts for a 69 Riviera? I found this front end kit on ebay but thought some one might know of a better/cheaper source? Also on a similar note what about a full bushing kit for the body mounts? I'm basically looking to replace all the rubber/soft parts on the car as they're all dried out and cracking since they are all original.
    Thanks! Screenshot_20200501-193908_Samsung Internet.jpg

The biggest problem with your comments is:
    "Better / cheaper "
You are going to get one --- O R --- the other !!!!!

Cheaper leaves you with the Chineseum world....
Better gets you U.S.A. made parts --- but not at the
    Bottom of the barrel price....

You will have to decide which way you want to go ---
And I would keep in mind, that you have a 10,000 pound
    Sweetheart of a car...

Those Chineseum parts aren't good enough for a bicycle !!!

If you want U.S.A. made parts -- you are welcome to call me --- but the price will be double that, for sure.....
And, notice, the Center Link and Idler Arm are not even part of your illustrated kit....

Always best to simply call me --- Craig ---
    516 - 485 - 1935.....

Replace only what is worn. Your original GM parts are 10x the quality of what comes in those kits. There is no sense in throwing away good parts simply because there is a kit available.

Bob, I just buy the moog pieces off rock auto or Amazon. And some urethane sway bar bushings from prothane??. I think if you add them up you won't pay more than that kit...and the moog stuff is pretty consistent. Classic Buick's.com has body mount kits...not sure of quality? Sadly I concur that the originals hold up better than the new stuff...in many instances

What I meant by better/cheaper is that by the time you ad up the cost of the parts, the shipping and then do the currency exchange from US to Canadian plus the duty charges that $340 kit now becomes $800-$1,000 CAN because we all know they're going to hit me with extra fees for the package being over sized and excessive weight and just because they want more money charges. I figured you guys would know of a better source than ebay for a good USA parts kit or like mentioned above a good place where I can piece a kit together myself. As for only replacing what is worn, well all the body mounts are dried out and cracked so they're done. The front end components I'll take a closer look and see what is truly worn but I figured since the car is 51 years old it would be a good idea to replace everything.

I checked out classicbuicks.com and they had alot of stuff for the 69 Riv's but pricing is up there! Rockauto has lots too and is in a better price range. Most of their parts are mevotech, moog and ACDelco which brand would be best to use?

Could you get one of our members stateside to buy the parts and ship directly to you without the additional fees?

That's a good idea! I've also been thinking of setting up a box at a shipping center state side and just going over the border every once and awhile to pick up parts, question is will they let me over ;)?

I'll have to look into that but from what I remember Napa doesn't offer much for my Riv?

Napa stands for "Never American Parts Available". ---
They are a Chineseum parts selling outfit like AutoZone and Advance.... They will have next to nothing available for 1963 - 1970 Riviera Front End Components -- and anything they do have will be garbage....

If you do want U.S.A. made parts, you can contact me, but shipping into Canada as of 1-15-2020 has become real pricey.... You need to borrow someone's States side address and bring it across the border yourself, EH ??

    Yours, Craig.....

Clearly someone is begging for a sale..

Napa can get you whatever you need for the riv. All you have to do is ask for the better parts.

    436d Skylark,
You have an a body, where everything is available.

Go to your napa store that CAN'T get you a center link for a 1969 Riviera -- and tell me how you make out....
I will spot you the part number -- it is a DS785..... Let me know how you make out there, bucko....

I am NOT ever going to apologize for telling the truth.
For anyone who wants to go Chineseum, be my guest.
It is NOT illegal to NOT use intelligence... And America is a FREE country (I don't know -- and will never travel -- to China.....to find out about them...)

I bought from Mobil parts for many years, Craig nice guy ,GOOD PRODUCTS '' BUT'' if he sends you the wrong part HE WONT TAKE IT BACK I had to eat 2 radiator Hoses that he sent to me, That were not for the 71 GS 455 AND he said GATES doesn't make mistakes in there shipping, well someone did. He would not accept any photo's of the correct hoses or refund any money. SO JUST BE AWARE
