So, I’m in the midst of replacing my old instrument bezel. It was hammered. Took the old one out, cleaned and switched everything over to the new repro bezel from Todd. Looks great. So while I have the bezel out, I’m doing some housekeeping with the wires and fixing a broken heater control cable tab. I notice an un attached wire on the drivers side rolled up to the left of the steering column. I grab it and start following it up, it’s heading for the a pillar cover. So, I figure it’s the map light in the mirror someone unplugged over the last 50 years or so. Just as I get to the a pillar, I notice a rolled up paper stuffed into the body and tucked behind the dash. So, I carefully take it out.....

That’s where I found one on the 70 GS455 I once owned. Cool beans!

Trying to flatten it out now. Does Duane still decode these?

For Flint built GS455 cars, this is what I believe they call the POCP (Production Order Chassis Paint) sheet. - in other words the Build sheet.

I'm jealous! I've had the fuel tank out, all the seats, one door trim, dash pad, glovebox liner and both A pillar trims out. Not a thing.

Go to Hobby Lobby and buy a cheap frame or a cheap picture in a frame and frame it. That will keep it flattened out.

Interesting that the sheet lists "Special Trim" and a code that looks to be "1TE". Or is it actually 178 or perhaps 176?. What is the trim code on your Fisher Body trim tag?

The trim code is 176. Everything on the sheet matches what’s on the tag. 09B on the cowl tag shows as 9 8 1969 on the sheet, pretty cool!

If you look at the top picture you can see the left a pillar cover just above where I found it. It was behind the dash cluster, to the left and tucked in behind metal dash frame.
