According to 2 Timothy 3:16, all scripture is God breathed. In other words, I understand this to be God speaking directly to us, help/words from above. So in my reading this morning, looking for instruction, I remembered this passage and decided to share it with you all!

With the recent story surrounding Josh Harris and his turning away, and the recent fall of James McDonald, I am troubled by the events as they are unfolding.

That was a prophecy of what our western Christianity would become. We don't want to witness the glory of God. We go church, we go to seminary, we read and know God's word but we refuse to know Him intimately. In Exodus 19 & 20 God told all the people to prepare themselves, come meet Him and experience His glory. They refused, told Moses to go and bring back a report. Nothing's changed we go to service to hear some report on God from some preacher, teacher or evangelist but refuse to usher in His glory because then we have to change our image of God. We've spent our whole lives developing an image of God from listening to others tell us their image of God who got their image of God from from someone else. By then His image is so distorted we will never experience His glory. Once you experience God's glory man's church will seem petty and dull. Only 95% of people who call themselves a Christian have a clue what God's glory really looks and feels like. Once you experience that man's church is depressing. We are the only things in all creation that God breathed His breath into. He did that because we are the only thinks in creation that could reflect His glory. We were created for that but we refuse to look upon Him and reflect Him. We look upon others and reflect them.

Yep, I feel like that’s where a lot of these buildings with people in them on Sunday are at. I talk to people that go to the “popular church “in our area and I am saddened by what I hear goes on in these places. It’s like another form of a shopping mall.

I’m thankful to be able to freely study God‘s word and share it. Although, that door seems to be closing on us.

My thoughts? I agree, we've began rapidly closing that door for the last 60 years.
