1st annual Buick Bash at Quaker City Motorsports Park

    When you get there, just tell them at the gate that you are racing with the Buicks, pay for your entry there, you can park anywhere you like (you will see the electric boxes). You will have to let one of the track officials know you just need to have the electric turned on once you park. It is really a simple procedure, if not we will get it done for you when you get there.

    Ok everyone, here is the Tentative schedule for the Buick Bash at the Quake on June 14th and 15th at Quaker City Motorsports Park. This is subject to changes.

    FRIDAY

    Test and tune all day 9am-5pm

    11 am--- Dialing for dollars ($10 paid in the lanes)

    11 am--- Turbo classes Qualifying round 1

    12:30pm--- Gamblers race (Buick VS the world) runs till completed

    3pm--- Turbo classes Qualifying round 2

    Any grudge races can be anytime during the day

    Turbo heads up classes run in the Friday night program.


    SATURDAY

    9 am--- Gates open

    10am ---Test and tune all day long

    11 am--- Q16 qualifying round 1

    1 pm -- Q16 qualifying round 2

    3 pm --- Eliminations start (run order of Q16, V6, V8) run until complete

    IF time we will run a 2nd chance gamblers race.

    not sure if I missed it or not is this going to a 1320' run or or 660'

    Sam. Glad to hear you guys are coming. We didnt do any pre registration so it will be just pay at the gate when you get there.

    This will be 1320' The heads up classes that will be running with us will be running the 1/8th mile, but everything Buick will be 1/4.

    For anyone that is coming and will need to get fuel at the track, this is what they have:

    112--$10
    114--$12
    116--$14
    Methanol -- $4

    For the V8 class is it gonna be a box and a no box class or is everyone grouped together?

    We are going to allow boxes in Q16 only. If they have a box and run the V8 or V6 class we are going to ask them to not use it and it will be monitored on the starting line. Transbrakes are ok.

    Most racer have their box wired and set up to easily remove it.

    Hopefully those that are still install do the right thing and not use them, it's hard for the line working to watch that on every car. But buick ppl seem to be more honest than most other I race with.

    Of course 3 weeks put from race and my work load in the shop goes crazy and will keep me from getting my car done in time. But at least I'm making money

    Yes We have opened up Friday from 9-5 to any make and any model for testing and tuning. We will have a dialing for dollars race and then the gamblers race will be Buick vs the world. Anyone you know that wants to come can race.
