Ya, true, the test motor going together now has .878/.874 Lift.. it's a proven lobe from similar motors of other makes.. The idea of testing it that far was simply to show the heads don't stop flowing or go backward.. While it takes very expensive valvetrain hardware that still has a limited life span to use a 1" lift cam, there is somebody out there who will do it.. therefore we test everything to the limits.

So, what about a cast intake to go with those?(need the brow guy here that the old platform had!:D)

A cast intake for the cast head is being designed now! We already have CAD files on the head deciding on what intake to make. This is very limited production so there won't be 6 different versions. Maybe exchangeable tops.

Ok, when you say "cast", do you mean cast aluminum or cast iron? If its iron for the "stock class" race stuff, I am not interested and have no further comments for these.

If you're doing cast aluminum then I would have to say make a high rise dual plane like the E-brock RPM Air Gap! Buick big and small blocks would LOVE a high rise extended RPM dual plane aluminum intake!(no one makes these either, hint hint)

Also, since no one else is ,making single 4 bbl aluminum Nailhead intakes, you would probably make some $$ doing that one? IIRC there were over 30 people that were interested in one of those when that 4toe guy that used to make the Elco I think it was, dual 4bbl intake asked if there would be any interest. That was a couple years ago posted in the Nailhead section on v8.

I'll be 1st. to say that I would be interested in an aluminum 4bbl. intake for a 401/425 "Nail" that will flow better than a stock ported cast iron intake.

Just to add to what 300SBB said a high rise dual plane intake would be sweet to see for the SBB and BBB!

Some new Valve cover options would be nice to have , Steve at SRE has the fabbed covers down to an art. But some new Billet or cast options would be nice. TA covers are good looking covers but it's pretty much all we have minus the occasional Kenne Bell covers, those are always good to see, I don't even consider the Poston covers as they never appealed to me at all.

OMG... we have soooo much on our plate to get this co. Going. Billet 455 blocks now, Castiron455 blocks this winter. No exact date no deposits! Signups for parts at BG. We will have many parts and prices and you can purchase them on line by BG. If nothing else shirts and hats. lol. Several key people including my wife (who was not afraid to blow the tires off my Stage 1 GSX 4 speed as a teenager) is working night and day to get the web site and legal info taken care of. She is a techie who can’t believe the response from the Buick community. Thank you all, and we will both see you at the GS Nationals!

Smokey15 So old that I use AARP bolts.

As someone who part times at a shop specializing in billet blocks, heads, intakes, throttle bodies, etc., I can really appreciate all the R&D, etc. that goes into those parts. Kudos, Ken and those who took part in their creation.

What intakes are planned for the Wildcat?

We have a set with 2.450 int. that flowed 532 cfm on another flow bench. We won't be running over 1" lift for a while. Just to create a little Christmas excitement we do have plans for a 600cfm and 700cfm head for a monster motor we will build. Not ready this year.

A single and dual quad tunnel ram, you can assemble yourself,(working on that right now) a blower intake for a 6 or 8:71, an EFI, and probably a cast 4 bbl intake.

Any future mouse motor components in the line-up? Seems we're being dominated by rats. :)

This may sound somewhat odd, and I honestly doubt the "need" is there, but since TA has the new 350 heads getting ready to hit the market and they will certainly be an improvement over stockers and even on into 500~600hp what would be neat to have is a true Race oriented cast 350 head 330cfm out of the box and do a nice long runner single plane and a set of new era 2in primary headers. Model the heads after the Stage 2's on the exhaust side raise them up or whatever needs to be done and build some headers to fit the Abody chassis. I would spend the money to build a truly NASTY high winding small block.

Now your talking! Sounds good to me! I really don't like the fit/blend of any of the available 350 headers to the iron head exh ports anyway.

Well isn't this year over in 2 weeks?

Question about the heads, do they make engine dimensions wider? How much wider?

It's like you read my mind.
Because the sales numbers probably won't support the cost of foundry tooling, the heads and intake will have to be billet.
Stainless steel header flanges are already designed for the 350. You might have to build your own headers.
