Back up and running

    IMG_2579.JPG I have just about 60 miles on the new budget 430 that replaced the grenaded 455. Figured Id post a pic of the build and specs.
    69 430 .030 over
    Main oil to 5/8 with other oiling mods
    Stock bottom end with ARP rod bolts
    Stock 430 heads with 3 angle no porting
    Rough estimate 8.7:1
    T/A 284-88h
    SP1 with demon 750 or 850?
    Stock manifolds to 2 1/2
    Th400 with stockish converter and 3.73s

    Pulls hard enough for now, gotta see what this runs next spring....going to start gathering good stuff for the next 455.

    I think there should be more regal BBB combinations out there also. I like these builds.

    I may have something to add to this section of the site this coming spring.

    I prefer the Regals with small blocks.

    That would be nice to see. I love these projects. I had so much fun building my 30+ year dream.

    Yeah we need more once I have my short block finished I'll start posting pictures what color guys BUICK RED HEMI ORANGE OR METALLIC ELECTRIC BLUE THATS THE COLOR OF THE CAR only made that big so it grabs your attention opinions thoughts appreciated
