I looked at every post for the first 5 pages of this thread and what? No videos of these boats racing? What's the deal?!

LOL, kinda hard when you go to the track by yourself. I do plan on investing in a go-pro at some point.

My 68 Sportwagon is a big boat but it is very light, 3400 lbs with driver. I don't think it qualifies.

The list has been updated. Sorry for the delay, but it's hard to find a couple of spare minutes these days.

New bests for the wagon! 11.74 @ 117.13. Freeze plug came out after the finish line, not sure what happened yet.

It also weighs more! 5375 pounds.

Will weigh a little more than that with water in the radiator!

Dang it!! Io got down to 11.89 @115.1 last weekend at the same 5400lb weight,

I finally got the Wildcat to the track and beat my old Centurion with a 15.88 / 85.91 / 2.48. I'm having some fuel delivery/ignition/carb issues, and occasionally the car would nose over as it's about to hit second gear, stumble and pick up, so there weren't many solid passes. The office Chevelle that I've mentioned before did a best of 15.27, so he's only about .6 ahead, which I hope we can reel in at some point in the future.

I didn't think it would go this fast!! I can still tune wastegates, change fuel, play with valve lash, and change injectors... It has a 10 in it

Have you done anything to stiffen the frame? WHats your rear suspension look like? What rear tires are you running at the track?

    To be completely honest..

Tubular lower control arms. Homebuilt adjustable uppers. That's it

    28.5 10.5 15 m&h race masters..

    Nothing really special at all..
I have plans In the works to get geometry better, strengthen the mounting points and a built 9"

Thats pretty darn good. The Riv runs 9 flat in the 1/8 and on days with really bad air the striped down Regal goes low 8's

Well, i fee like all my hard work finally paid off last night. I recently added a two-step and a shift light and decided to go test them yesterday at Barona drag strip. Let me first start by saying...it was HOT. Racing started at 4pm and it was 97* outside and HUMID. I looked at the projected DA for today's high of 89 and its 4000ft so i know it was higher yesterday! Anyway, the two step testing was interesting. I have it hooked to a button on my shifter handle and i kept forgetting to release the button when i would launch so id bang off the two step the first 60-100ft until i realized why i wasn't going any faster. After three passes in the heat my best time was an 8.3 and i decided to call it quits because i was literally sweating into my eyes plus my girlfriend and daughter were out in the hot sun in the stands so we all went into town for some dinner and a/c. Came back and finally got a hit after dark and everything went right...had a great burnout, air was "cooler", and the key was i let off the two step immediately and wow it felt like i was in a rocket. Anyway, i feel like i cant get much better on the 60ft with the stock suspension. i had my tire pressure at 20 for the last run so i think i might be able to take a few more psi out but other than that...i think its time to start upping the boost.

Wanna get a really good launch and solve the forgetting to let off the button issue install a Trans brake in there and hook them together on one button.

What did the hit after dark net you?
    And it sounds like fun!

I can personally say the best 60 you will probably be able to get down to with slicks even is about 1.70.
Looking at a 9" and some rework of rear suspension myself...
