Just off the dyno is another bad ass engine from Scotty. We made10 pulls last night and ended up with 703hp and 640 ft lbs of torque! This is a low compression 494 engine with stage 1 SE heads. The heads and intake are a work of art. A big thanks to scotty for surpassing my expectations. Here is some pics and I'll try and load a dyno pull. image.jpg

that is making some power. cant wait to see you back out there this year. Too bad no marcus dairy anymore to break it in. A lot of nice engines coming out of scottys.

    Amazing Power. :TU:
Who's rods and pistons did you use for your combo?
The headers look like Stage 2 size. :bglasses:

GRP al. Rods and wiseco pistons. Those are TA 2 1/8" headers for stage 1 heads.

Great #s! Where was the oil pressure taken from, the front or rear?

Oil pressure was taken from the front.

Yeah I'm looking forward to getting back out there this year and seeing everyone.

Congrats Dom but I would be worried about that oil pressure going away at higher rpm. Gotta have 75lbs at 6500 if you want it to last.

Glad you'll be back out there Dom!
I got my 560" back from Scotty and it's back in my '65 where it belongs! It made 908hp this time around. :TU:

Alan, never had the last engine on the Dyno but I would assume it had to be around 650 hp.

I believe the oil temp was probably pretty high the last pull And probably lost some pressure that way. This was a new front cover so it may need a bit of a tweak.

Thanks for the kind words guys and let's bring on spring already!
