    Rod,

I have an 8month old son and I trully hope to one day bring him to a track and see you there running the Regal with a Buick motor. I would really love to tell him that you were the first to break into the 6s and really start playing with the big boys.

Best of luck in getting the motor together.:TU:

Are you taking the Hawk to Byron this year?

Mike, I have to get this one goin first before I can buy the 'Operation Stage 6' heads.
Then I could use the top half of this motor that my father owns.
We got 42lbs of boost into this 350 with the setup...........I wonder if I could convince him...........then the wife:spank: :spank:
Then I would have to buy another CFE manifold for the 14/71.
Oh well sweet dreams for me tonite
    Cheers
    Royden

I called TA about 2 weeks ago, I have a deposit down, and I'm on the list for one from the next batch, I wanted an update because I was looking at buying another car, but if I needed to pay my balance off I'd have to pass on the car. I was told that it would be about 4 more months until mine would be available. So still waiting and hoping for the best, I know TA will come through. Passed on the car anyways....

dynoing is very expensive... my guess would be most of the TA blocks wont be running until spring...

Dyno, no dyno, after hearing about them going out the door, it seems somebody would have one barking by now.... yeah, I know, expensive with or without the dyno, but that's not new to anyone who is in need of this block....:Do No:

Hope to hear you're making noise by spring.

I had hopes of seeing numbers off of one making some big power by now too. After busting the aluminum bulldog I have no desire to test another one on my wallet, it's time to let someone else do it. I hope when Rod gets his done they make some power pulls on it that will tell me what i need to know. we were on our way to 1600 HP with the one I had from BD so Rods should make more than that I would think. Hell all I need is a block all the parts are sitting here wait for a new home. I could have one together in a couple weeks.

Any wait time right now isn't us (TA), once we place the order we're at the liberty of the foundry and machine shop so as soon as THEY finish then they'll be out the door :TU: We hassle them to hurry up and keep moving but ultimately don't have much control

There are already several blocks out, the second run is in motion and since im sure you are not buying or in need of a block, go talk crap somewhere else, maybe there is a 14 second club somewhere for you, oh wait maybe 15 second would be more fitting...

ummm, there's this new fangled thing ... maybe you've heard of it. it's called "humor"?

no, i don't really think that TA is anything like Bulldog. i'm the guy who swung by Bradshaw's shop and reported back that he seemed to be about 99% ideas and 0% business acumen. maybe you remember?

    that's why i said, "I keed, I keed".

of course now that i've had to explain everything in excruciating detail because somebody got their panties in a wad, it ain't very funny.

are you seriously trying to use how much money you throw at your drag car for a penile substitute?

you'd better try harder, i'm not very impressed.

no problem. we see a lot of that at the circle track as well.

anybody who is fast "must" be cheating ... mostly because we're beating the pants off of people who really are cheating but who don't know how to put anything together and make it handle.

didn't find it funny at all before the attempt to explain

TA repeated, almost verbatim, the "excuse" Bradshaw used for year on year of delays.

the funny exists because TA has already come further in one year ( they are already onto Rover heads, for God's sake ) than Bradshaw did in five. also, TA is a thriving and profitable business concern. Bulldog was squeaking by and trying to scrape weekly operating funds together by inventing a new pie in the sky scheme every month to market to a new group of suckers ( Buick, Olds and Cadillac groups for certain ).

TA is going to have to screw the pooch for quite a few years in a row to get a "Bulldog reputation" ( intentional double entendre there ) or to have comparisons to Bulldog taken seriously.

and as long as you've been here, you really should know all of this.
