Discussion on Real Olds Power indicates somebody else did the same and bought the patterns for Olds heads about a year ago. They are fixing issues before they are releasing them for sale.

 

I wish someone would do this with the Buick block, I really don't want to go aluminum. But it sure looks like it's about the only choice....

 

Every time I post on the plus side of CI blocks I get hammered on but I agree with you! All the money is in the molds/programming and this has been done twice for a Buick but still no CI block..........

I asked Mike @ TA about possibly buying Bulldogs molds and having the CI block poured here in the good old rust belt but he said no way. Looks like Al_You_Minium is all you'll have.

 

I think if you wait and see the aluminum will prove to be sufficient for most anything that would be done with a Buick. I wonder what power numbers are being made with the TA V-6 block?

 

There is a Ta V6 Aluminum block is in the fastest TSO car in the country, Dave Fiscus 8.20's @ 166+ mph. Been running almost three years. I will make a guess of 1400+HP.
