Default Bill Sales 1970 survivor GSX

Today I went to the Chicagoland Buick GSCA car show in Naperville, IL.

I had the pleasure of meeting fellow member Bill Sales (#7) and his stunning survivor 1970 GSX. Most of you will get to see the GSX at this years GSX Gathering. Trust me....you will all be as speachless as I was to see this car is person. Bill is also a very nice GSX owner, since 1975.....very cool!

Enjoy these pics.

He had this car at last years Nats too, but I didn't get the chance to speak with him at that time. I do have a few photos to share. It was great to see it then.

I can look at unrestored cars all day. That's sweet! I would have left mine original if it was anything close to this nice,BUT..... being that it was the wrong color, with the wrong top half, non-working ragtop, cracked windshield,caved-in rusted out fender, and trashed seat , why not restore it? It was fun when it was running, driving it and not worrying about things like washing it, or polishing the non-existant chrome.
