I got my CarCraft today and what do I see, a 1987 Regal T-Type with 850 RWHP on page 54 :jd: .!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Check it out.
Ok, Phil ......I have a question? Have you been watching too much Scooby Doo????? Zoinks????????????? You are killing me!
yeah i saw that car down at bowling green. its flawless i think it was just restored not long ago bob
I picked one up on the news stand after work today, but there's no Buick on pg.54 in this November issue. Maybe you have December already?? Or is this another case of the news stand issues not being the same as the subscriber issues?
It is the December issue. Here's a pic of the article. I hope I don't get into trouble posting them here. Car is a turbo V-6 car. Alright, how do I just post a pic, and not a link???
Phil, I believe you can only attach one image if you want it to actually show in the post. Multiple images show as links.
Only the Nov issue was on the stands here, I assumed it was current. Guess I'll have to watch for Dec to come out.
That is impressive! This will teach the brand x'ers what kind of H.P. a Buick is capable of producing.
It would be nice if we could get this guy on v8buick. Man looks like a beautiful ride. Its good to see the buicks well represented.
There was an article in GM High Tech Perf. last year on Jane Armstrong's Turbo Regal Limited (wife of Red Armstrong of turbo Buick fame) in which he said the car chassis dyno'd 700 HP @ 5200 rpm and 1000 (!) lb.-ft. of torque @ 4300 rpm! The engine is a Stage 1 V6 block w/ Champion iron heads and lots of other goodies, 200-4R tranny w/ Vigilante convertor and weight of 3635 lbs. The article said he ran 10.20s @135. FWIW. Ed Ohio
Those dang pesky "little" turbo V-6's! ou: JK.. they've always impressed me, as does this one! ESPECIALLY if he can put ALL OF that Power to the ground!! :eek2: :TU: :jd: The turbo'd V-6, seemingly with ease, can make as much OR MORE THAN A 'HOT' 455! uzzled: Someday, I hope to get my hands on one! :Brow:
Damnit, everyone gets their issues before I do!! My December issue hasnt arrived yet. I saw that car in Bowling Green as well. (Think I even took a picture or two). Dont believe I saw it make a pass though, but there were so many cars and so much racing its hard to remember. Definitely a sweet car.
