Hello Everyone, I would like to start off by apologizing for not being around our "community" here as much lately as I've been in the past. Some of you know that I have Cystic Fibrosis so I'm hopitalized quite often with pneumonia and other frequent respitory illnesses for several weeks at a time, several times a year. Well, the time has now come and I just completed my evaluation testing for a double-lung transplant at the Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. and was "listed" on the national United Network of Organ Sharing as of last Friday, Feb 18th. Please do not take this as I'm whining about my situation, I'm not. I thank the LORD each and every day for my 38 years (as of Feb 15th.). I just would like to ask my fellow believers to pray for my wife and mother as this is very hard for them as it is for the remainder of my family also. The insurance part of this looks to be pretty much taken care of (hopefully) except of course for our part of the deductible and the finances required for me to live in St. Louis for at least 6 months after I'm released from the hospital afterwards as-well-as keeping our home and household intact at the same time for my wife and step-kids. Supporting two households simultaniously especially with me on disability and not working is a tall task to overcome. I'm not asking for money or anything like that but for your prayers as I KNOW the LORD WILL provide as he ALWAYS has for me. "Where two or more are gathered in MY name there am I also." Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your prayers....Kerry
Kerry, Happy belated birthday. Wow what a challenge you are facing. It is an inspiration to read of your faith in God as you face the future. I sincerely pray God will bless you and your family with the support and resources to restore you to perfect health. Please keep us informed on your progress and God bless you and your family. Wow Kerry, I didn't know about the CF. That and lungs!?!?! Most definitley you and your family are in my prayers.
You will be in my family's prayers You will be in my family's prayers and never give up hope. Just tell the devil you have not finished running the race God wants you to run and remind Jesus He said "You could have whatever you say in My name". He has never failed me when I keep the faith. God Bless You Michael
Kerry - Praying for the best for you and your family. :TU: It's quite an ordeal you're going thru now, but I know that the Lord will provide for all your needs!! Keep trusting in Him and He'll provide not only a successful surgery & recovery, but also the necessary finances. Jeremiah 33:3 Call unto me and I'll answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. Some refer to that as 'the Lord's phone #'.
