I could post 100 Journey song and still not cover all of their best. what an epic band they became. Gregg Rolie doesn't get the credit of Journey he deserves. He is a founder and without him Journey wouldn't exist.

With the recent passing of Butch Trucks, drummer for the Allman Brothers,it seems like a good time for "The Whipping Post"

I'm a mostly rock and blues listener, but I have a diverse taste within those genres. It might be Metallica today, Eric Johnson the next, Alterbridge and then Santana after that.....

But a few of my lesser known favorites:

Finding My Way and Caravan by Rush
Warheads by Extreme
Refrigerator Car by Spin Doctors
The River by Joe Bonamassa
The Killer is Me by Alice in Chains (unplugged album)
For Your Life by Led Zeppelin (particularly the version form Celebration Day Live)

Speaking of Joe Bonamassa, this acoustic version of Slow Train is worth a listen. Talent just oozes from this guy.

Donnie Iris was in the Jaggerz, who had a hit with "The Rapper" around 1970.

That's a major rarity - the 45 is worth a couple hundred dollars.

Wow . . . I'm impressed someone knows Frumious Bandersnatch! If there ever was a record that was "the one that got away," it was their EP:

Used to play it on my radio show a lot in college.

Had a radio show in college so I became familiar with a lot of underground bands thanks to access to a record collection. I wasn't alive when this music was being made.

A more famous band from the Bay Area (Chrissie Hynde does a nice version of this too):

This is my shower song, I love the acoustics the shower walls produce. I sound great in there. It's like having a built in monitor.
