While at Bristol I caught a quick glimpse of Jim Weise and Mike Bucy's 1970 burnished saddle GS with the SCO N69 grille option. Really adds to the look.... Jim Lore
Those are the latest in backwoods/farmboy/inbread/country/ricer wannabe decorations I have a sneakin suspition to can own them for a fraction of the retail value also :TU: Also It should come with the optional gold painted wheel pening moldings as part of the kit!!!
I'm hoping that's photoshopped. Something tells me it blinks...or glows in the dark...or some other 'ricer' type thing.:spank:
Neons!!!!? Now we know how JW is building all of these high HP buicks.... Neons in the grills, spoilers, single wiper conversions, stickers, all of the major performance upgrades... Fess up Jim, we caught you!uzzled:
............ And Jim, just wait till you see what we did with your Dash Bezel out of your GSX... ... Went with the new ricer's "white package".... you will love it.. even had a set of wings from a Northwest pilot glued onto it.. Just for you bud... .... now back to reality.... the only thing in this post that is real are those goofy things in the grill of that car.. the rest is just some funnin'.. Hey Jim, that is a pretty light looking Poly Brown... what's the code?... kinda looks like Harvest Gold.. It ain't gonna match Bucy's 70 hardtop stage.. or is it just the lighting? PS... distributor for that car is in the works... packages tomorrow.. JW And yes, it is as bad looking as you described it at Bristol to Mike and I... how's the grill... can it be saved?
This is really interesting cause Weise and Bucy were driving a Ricer (rusty Honda) at Bristol!
Jim It is the flourescent lighting. It is much darker in natural light and is clearly burnished saddle. I will send you up some pictures taken in natural light . A 70, factory 4 speed, convt with air is indeed a rare machine. Jim Lore P.S. Does Mike still want those Mexican jumping bean air shocks in both the front and rear? Seems a bit excessive to me. Also I have de-tuned the N69 just a bit as requested.
