Now I have been going through all the other 350 cam posts and just want to confirm something. I'm using my stock 69 350 in my regal. I'm not pulling the heads. I have the front cover off to do the timing set and the intake off to put on the 4bbl so I think I'm going to do the cam and lifters. Was leaning towards the crower 2 but didn't know if I could go the level 3. As stated in other threads I don't think I will have high enough compression for the 3. Car will have headers, 2500 stall and has 373 gears with the th350 trans and dual 3" with an x pipe. I know the exhaust is a little too big but it was bent up custom when the car had a 455 in it. Sorry to beat a dead horse here but I'm just making sure.

I think it may work OK with your engine but do believe your compression is low for it. You have about 8 to 1. Still think its a decent choice. If its going in gbody regal no headers fit that swap. Make custom.

Can't figure out why my huge 455 headers would fit (with some tweaking) but yet the sbb ones for an a body supposedly won't. I mean they were tight with the 2" primary's but I got them in there.

    455 exhaust ports are in a different location,hight and width wise , I have a 455 regal possibly dropping a 470 into it/race only
