Also it is amazing how close spectators get to where the action is. Later one Buick GS showed up. Unfortunately I had to leave, so there was no opportunity to engage into a conversation. Member of this board maybe?

What times did it run? Also, Milan will let you run with the windows down?

Don’t know about the windows down. Also don’t know his time. His engine hesitated during launch quite a bit and that run was worthless. I didn’t bother looking at the board. Probably he would have been above 13.99 anyway, because track rules state that you need to wear a helmet for vehicles faster than that and the driver didn’t wear a helmet.

Just came back to the hotel, taking Woodward for a couple of miles. Boy, it is Thursday and Woodward is already packed with classics.
Will spend more time on Woodward tomorrow night and go to Buick’s on the Bricks on Saturday during the day.

Looks like a 350 skylark to me. Hell at least he was able to make it out there. I can't make it out for Woodward or Back to the bricks this year, let alone have the car track ready. Kind of a bummer for me, but there is plenty of cruising leading up to both events that I was able to attend.

    X2 on the Skylark bit.
Looks like a polished 72 hood lip over a 71 Skylark Custom grille.
Usually a dead giveaway when there is only a GS emblem on the fender without something underneath.

    Not bashing, just observing.;)

At least he's running it whatever it is.
