some 1 abandoned a 1995 oldsmobile aurora at my trailer that they were renting from me after they took off with out paying. anyways they took the keys and the car is not that bad. the problem is that the key has a damn chip or something on it. ive pulled the column apart and pulled the lock cylinder out. i figured i could start it that way. well i cant and there is a message that appears and says clean key and wait three minutes. i dont want to buy a lock assembly cause its 170$ :eek2: anyone deal with these before. if i get it running ill sell it to pay for my electras paint job
If you have.... Proof of ownership, any competent car alarm shop will bypass your anti theft system, permanently, without having to install an alarm. Good luck.
