:spank: :spank: :spank: :spank: :stmad: :af: Hey Alan! Some people just go over the top... yuck! All it needs is a pink velour interior and curb feelers to look just right.
yeah, that car is flaming, alright. and what are these elusive curb feelers everyone mentions? before my time, i guess...anyone got a pic?
The feelers are antenna-looking thigs that stick out from the front and rear fenders to give you a signal as to where to "curb" is so you don't scuff your gansta whitewalls:grin: I bet you have seen them, but not realized that's what they are.
It is hard to tell from Patty's pic, but it is a tightly wound spring that is not supposed to permanently deform. The idea was when you had whitewall tires, oftentimes very wide, you would not want to discolor them by scraping against the curb while parking. So, you had these springs that scraped the curb and made noise so as to warn you when you were close but not too close.
RIV I think the driver must be a flaming...............:spank: :spank: :spank: :spank: :spank: :spank: :TU: :TU:
Some people's kid's I saw that thing on ebay, :gt: heres the LINK Nobody has bid on it. Flames.... They may look good on a '34 Ford street rod, But....
I would have taken it jsut for the motor and the rear end!!! $.99 isn't too bad for a 455 and a posi! Too bad it's in WA...It would cost me $700 to ship it.
