Hello, I was searching around on the internet and found this site XSPerformane Is anybody running one of thease ?I'ld like to get one for the 350 in my '70 'lark. I'ld like some info from somebody that has one. Is it a truely complete bolt on kit? want to either go with this super charger or swap in a tremec TKO. but I'ld prefer to buy a super charger. The cash is burning a hole in my pocket.
There's alot of good info there but it's not really pertaining to the kit itself ??? Can anybody help me out? Or is this kit to new to have an hard info or some kind of customer base on? Is anybody here with a 350 running one of thease kits?
That thread is actually Part 2. There is another thread about the install. Do a search, there might even be some info in a couple of other threads, but Rich's post about the install is probably what you want. There's one other guy on the board that I know of running the kit (I can't remember his name but I'm sure you'll find it one of the supercharger threads). I don't know of anybody running one on a 350 yet. Actually, the guy who runs XS is a member here too. I think his user name is 'Mike T'. If there's still something that the threads don't answer, try sending Mike or the other two guys a PM.
Hi Guys, The kit is complete minus the fuel system upgrades. If you like, you can even get the fuel pump and boost sinsitive regulator from mike as well. Plan on spending at least another 400 bucks for the fuel system upgrades over the price of the charger that's listed on xsperformance.net. BTW..... I believe Mike has had the charger on a 350 car. You can contact him at mike@xsperformance.net. It is a very well put together kit. If I had to make the choice, I'd go the boost route
