Ya I've got to get one also.

I just ran the wires to a horn button so I could get my sticker. This winter I'm going to change it and see if i can get the horn button on the steering wheel working again............

i ruled out horn, im leaning toward the a/c heat aspect of things, because i dont even have a heater box in the thing....keep me posted on what it might be, thanks

I though that was what it was also.

I'm going to have to dig into my books and see if I can tell just what it is.

The horn relay will likely be inside the car under the dash or a kick panel. Look on the passenger side first.

The horn relay is usually on the radiator core support, at least it is on my '68 Skylark.
Could be the blower relay, but they're usually inside the passenger compartment. That critter you posted is not on my firewall.

That piece is a radio capacitor - I just replaced mine with a new repro from Lectric Limited. They advertise it as a Chevy piece but it is the same exact piece. Scroll down on this link and you will see the piece and its description.

Seems like my link will only take you to the homepage - you need to look at their online cataloge for a Chevy - like the Camaro, and you will see it listed. Here is a description:

    >>01960957 RADIO CAPACITOR: VOLTAGE REGULATOR, -reproduction-, (mounts to voltage regulator, connects to ground tab on regulator)

Here is a photo of the repro piece.

I do not think he is talking about the filter capacitor which is actually attached on the ground side to the VR.

    >>Ah ha, I see now - that piece is the high low relay - here is the closest I have found to a match other than finding an NOS one. You do have to make sure the prongs are the same - I have seen some with four prongs and some with five.

Looks in the pic that the car was an a/c vehicle at one time - has the round a/c tank in the pic.

If you are re-working your firewall forward harness, look at my post here to get rid of some wires.

If you are using an A/C delete and still want your blower to work for the heater, you will still need the wiring and relay.
