Looking for something to bump up a little power in my stock 74 455 motor that will be going in my pro-touring car. I am just looking for something to get me through the spring/summer before I start building a real motor.

Ideally it would be a used cam and matching lifters similar to a TA212 or 284. Would consider any brand that wouldn’t be too much cam for a stock 455 with a B4B and headers.

I may have a TA 212 with matching lifters.

Hey everyone... I need a little less cam than the HOT Schneider that was supposed to go into my fresh +.040" 455. Im looking for a little bit more than a Stage 1 cam but not too radical. With or without lifters. I have a set of new Rhodes to use. Please PM me with specs and $$$. Thanks a bunch fellas! ws

Bill - I bought gary’s Cam, so the rest are up for grabs. I told Ken that if he found the 212 I would take that too, but he believes he may have sold it.

    Hope this helps!

No problem Louie! I just had the machine shop order me a new Comp Cam for 130.00. I jump the gun sometimes and the one I had was wayyy too much cam! Bill

    Bill:

I didn't know there was such a thing as "too much" cam.

    LOL

Only for the creature comforts Geoff... like power brakes LOL. The other cam is pretty radical. Power band is 2500-6500++. No headers, iron intake etc... It also seems to like 10-1/2 + on the compression. Just too much. Ya need one  Bill
