Looking for a clean, low-mileage, loaded "woody" wagon. Should include the tow package and limited-slip differential. Hoping to locate one in the California/Arizona area. Thank you for any leads provided. Randy

I dug last Sat. local paper out of the bin, should have posted this sooner-- Probably too far for you-- Spokane, Washington. " 95 Buick Roadmaster limited production, 16k mi. always garaged, fresh professional detailing, special ordered vehicle LT-1 350 eng, heated seats w/ memory, Pass-key II anti theft, alloy whls w/ matching full-size spare extra set of wheels with snows, Optima battery. Full documentation including window sticker. Adriatic Blue metallic paint with matching leather interior. $10,000 (509) 238-4932."

That is the light blue metallic color, my grandmother drives one of the same.

    Still searching

Wanted to let everyone know that I would also consider a wood-delete wagon. What's important to me is condition (clean) and low mileage (up to 60K).

    69GS400s ...my own amusement ride!

    ...just an FYI

94/95 was ODB-I while '96 is ODBII. Some like the ODB-I better for ease of "fooling" the computer once you start modding.

Also, tow pkg (Y97) and Posi(G80) are two specific separate options. G80 gives you the :puzzled: better :puzzled: 2.93 gears. Tow pkg includes HD Cooling with one mech. and one electric fan,Load leveling suspension, as well as trans/oil coolers. the Mech. fan uses a different fan shroud that precludes using any of the cold air intakes sold for the LT1's

Replace the rear cover gasket ASAP on the posi as from the factory the gasket covers vital lubricating holes for the axle bearings.

Expect at least one window to not operate properly. they used a "slider" in the regulator/channel that breaks easily. Replacement is with the tried and true roller :Dou: Just fixed the pass. door on mine this weekend. not hard, but not fun.

Im over on the Impy site as SportWagon - that IS the place to be for 91-96 B-Body wagons. Check out member RoofRax - he's a dealer who specializes in these wagons (prolly bought that Wa. lo-miler!!) All around good guy that alot of members are buying from.

Thanks Alan for the advice! Sorry for the delayed response. Checked out a black "woody" wagon this morning with 66K miles. Nice car, but not the right one. As I see more woodgrain wagons, I think that a wood-delete car is my preference. Even lower mileage cars seem to have issues with peeling woodgrain. And now the search will become even harder! :eek2:

Definitely check out Ruphrax on that forum, as he is constantly on the hunt for wagons. He buys from Florida and those areas, and his descriptions are always honest and accurate. You can have it shipped or do the Fly & Drive.
If anything happens to my wagon, I will definitely shop him first.
I have a 95, and it's easier to reprogram than a 96. There are lots of good modifications for these cars, and they respond well.

Thanks for the lead, Chris. This is a nice looking car originally from LA. Unfortunately, it does not have the trailer tow pack or limited-slip. :( Hope to see more responses! Randy
