Wrong spring installed and have a question

    Poppaluv I CALL WINNERS!!!

    ..On my '71 Riv.Tried to get things done for next weeks Cruisin' the Coast and discovered the springs installed were the incorrect ones. also , they had "bushings" or "isolators installed on top of the spring. Local parts places show nothing for these and I 'm thinking they arent needed? Are they? I thought the spring rested against the bottom of the top A arm. What's going on???

    isolators aren't needed, but are nice. springs sit in a pocket in frame and on lower control arm. isolators go in frame. you can buy isolators off ebay,opgi,ta etc.. isolator for 6"spring

    I picked up a pair about a month ago for $12. I'm sure you can find them if you look a little.
