seems kind of elementary i know, but i just put in Bosch Platinum spark plugs and the Bosch premium wire set into my 81 Buick, and man, what a huge improvement. starts up with no cranking and cranking and cranking, and the power improvement. i say elementary because its a simple tune up, and there's no telling how long the prevoius plugs (AC Delco, no way they could have been the same ones it came with 22 years ago?) but i was just surprised as to how much power i had gained. i say this with a 307v8, 4bbl stock setup, but still. i'm going to be working on my 307 and making it a "decent" performer, although i'm not sure as to what all this will entail and i know it's not going to be a huge racer, but i'm intent on seeing how much i can get out of this motor. anyways...that's all for now i guess.

Great move CMDR .... i'm going to have mine change too next spring , I bought my Buick last april and I have no idea when they were put on .
I'll Let it know here if that make quite an improvement with my 350-2 like it did to your 307 :Brow:

Is Bosch Platinum a good choice for the 350-2bbl as well ?

for the added price i would recommend the ac delco Rapid fire plugs they woke my 455 olds engine up and they are pre gapped and they dont need a differant gap for points or HEI

i've always liked the Bosch Platinum plugs, and they're cheap too (1.99) I hear the ACDelco RapidFires are good, but haven't tried them out. i probably wouldn't go for the Bosch Platinum Plus or Fours, they fire in sequence and not all at once, so there's not a whole lot of gain...but i'm proud of the platinums...
