Made seprate thread for this but is related to

This problem is related to the heads and I wanted to be sure of the situation before buttoning the intake back on it whe I am ready.

The problem is this cavity above the heat crossover passages and on the passenger side (the side there i had oil seeping from bolts) has filled with oil (first pic and the oil is in it, the reflection may fool you).I am wondering if anyone else had any experience with oil building up inside of here before. I am hoping it was only because of the hot cold cycles and no sealing intake gasket.

If not , does this plug looking thing inside (second pic) leak over the years? it looks like it would be a path up to the rocker area. I havent dug into these engines enough to know

That area is open to the entire universe. Any oil leakage in the general area is going to wet that cavity. Fix the oil leak, blow-out or absorb the oil in that casting recess, and don't obsess.

I've had, (maybe still do) oil collect in that area on my 350 heads, I wasn't and still not concerned about it, I figured it was the intake gasket (composite TA gaskets) not sealing completely in that area.
