here is one vid, look for a couple more from same person.

can't run it on straight 93 as-is, would need to back total timing a couple degrees, and spike it with some high octane.

Beautiful Buick. It was nice before you bought it and now it's what Richard L would call a drooler. How do you like the Challenger?

Certainly you have to do what's best for your but, if I were selling this car (or, any of my Buicks) I would not sell to anyone I knew would take it out of the USA. That's just me.

The guy buying it is a great guy. He has several cars, and he drives them. He is a big fan of 2 door post coupes.
It's going to a good home, even if it's far away.

This attitude really bugs me, why shouldn't people outside of the USA be able to own these cars and enjoy the hobby as much as anybody else.

Tom, you are to be commended and congratulated. That is one fine example. I am sure the new Owner is getting a very special car. Coincidentally, I was recently thinking about a shootout of sorts with GM A-body "small blocks". What really was driving my thought process was what other small block A-bodies could run with an Olds W-31? The Buick high-compression 350? One of the high compression Chevy 327's or 350's? Was a Poncho 326 HO or a 350 HO available in an A-body before 1970? I think the '71 LeMans G/T-37 could have come with the 350 HO. That whole idea was really intriguing particularly since there were just not many historical magazine tests and comparisons to reference. Your Buick would be a fine entry into that discussion and more directly, proves a Buick point. (F-bodies are out there with these drivetrains, but lighter than the A-bodies).

Well, a what if discussion with a friend is why this car came about after watching a very strong running W31.
Pontiac had both a 326HO and 350HO in both A body and F body in 67,68, and 69.
Pontiac did not offer a 4bbl on the small engines after 1969. 70 and later 350's were all 2bbl from Pontiac.
    I have a friend with a 1969 350 HO custom S A body that runs upper 12's.
    Thank you.
