Beware all, do not buy from wolfie8199. Takes money but doesn't send product.

I do not know how someone can still sell with 30 negatives and 22 neutrals. When does EBay cut them off??

I think the better question is why someone would buy from someone with 30 negatives?

was this the glovebox door that ended on 8-29 ? if so, what form of payment did you send him ? if it was paypal, i think you can do a chargeback.

Most of these negatives have come recently. Also, with 1600+ transactions over 3 years, you are bound to have some.

It can be difficult to judge an ebay seller by his feedback info. I won a small dollar item a couple years ago from a guy with several hundred positive, and only 2 or 3 negatives that didn't sound ominous at all. Never received item, talked to the guy on the phone, kept promising to ship but never did. The neg feedback started soon after. He had about 20 neg comments within a few weeks, then was booted by ebay. I was happy to have lost only $15.

If it is the glovebox door that ended 8/29, I personally don't think 2 weeks is unreasonable, but it depends on the form of payment you sent, and how soon after the auction ended you sent it. Can you give us more details?

I see this from time to time and I do not buy or sell to Ebay members like this and if a Ebay member like this bids on my auction I cancel there bids and block that member from bidding any more, AL.

Dave, with all do respect you can learn a lot about a Ebay member, on selling, shipping, and communication from the feed back form. I've had a very good expereance with Ebay because I will only deal with good Ebay members, AL.

Al, that's right, you CAN learn a lot by their feedback, but feedback is not always accurate. The guy that shafted me had very good feedback too. Too many ebayers won't post negative feedback for fear of getting neg in return. In my specific case, after I got shafted by the guy with very good feedback, I contacted some of his most recent buyers that had left POSITIVE feedback, and all 3 of them admitted they had a terrible experience with the jerk. But all were afraid to post neg about it.

Now, if the neg feedback is already there to see, that's a whole 'nother matter. A guy's just asking for trouble by ignoring it and bidding anyway. I just went and read this wolfie character's feedback, and he's got some nasty stuff this past spring into mid-summer. I would never have bid on any of his stuff myself. Only a few of the neg comments are real recent. He has a bad history a ways back.

It was the glovebox door from 8/29. I sent a paypal payment the same day. I filed a claim from paypal. Paypal said the seller gave them a tracking number. It was a bogus #. Paypal, now believes that seller has been faithful. I guess there is something to say about having two accounts.

Sorry Al, it has been a couple years now, and I don't recall his name then, but I do know his id disappeared from ebay, so he was booted. I did address it on the board at that time, to warn others. He sold knick-knack auto stuff, like keychains.

Scott, you mean Paypal simply accepted his side because he gave them a tracking #? Didn't they even try out the #? What result do you get when you try to run the trace? If it shows as invalid by USPS, you should be able to email that result to the Paypal rep that replied to you, and they should address it.

    David,

That is what I thought to, but it is one of the those, "Do not reply to this email address emails", where no one sees it.

I am going to try and file a USPS service fraud claim. It is not the $, that is inconsiquential. It is to prevent others from the same hassle.

I do buy parts from the board and I should just probably stay and do that.

    Scott,
What year glove box do you need. If it's a 70, 71, or 72, either I or one of my friends will have it. Let me know what year you need and you can have it. If I have it here, you can take it when you look at the door.
