How bout some good old horse trading? I want your rods and pistons. Problem is I already have a set of Ross pistons. Bore size 4.342, comp ht 2.02, rings 5/64,5/64,3/16, double lock retainers, 1"pin, -10cc dome, dish depth.045, int valve depth.220,exh valve depth .220,piston weight 650grams. What are the specs on your pistons and their weight? I paid $575 for these pistons and they have never been installed. Would you consider trading pistons and I pay you $475 shipped for your rods and pistons? I pay shipping of my pistons to you. Let me know.
Maybe... but these are not mine.. they belong to a customer. If we can't move them here in a reasonable time, he would then consider your offer. He unfortuanly can't use your pistons, as his block is already at 4.350 bore. Pistons are 4.350 Bore, 20CC dish, and a 1.980 compression height, 1" pin. These have the 1/16 compression rings, and they are included in the kit, along with the pins and locks. JW
Ok That sounds good. I could just go with the rods. Nothing wrong with my pistons. Any concerns with the 5/64 rings vs. 1/16 rings or difference in compression height? Ross 2.02 vs. Wiseco 1.98
Pont rods won't work with that compression height.. Ross did that height to work with stock Buick rods. JW
