Is there a special support for the plug wire seperator that goes with the Buick Alum. valve covers or are the regular ones modified? Also how about the wiring support for the alternator?

I believe that they are the same but are chrome, for the alum covers. The two hold down bolts, for the covers, are also chrome.

The fins on the valve cover seem to get in the way of the stock ones.

The wire holders are different for the aluminum rocker covers. They are much shorter and are chromed. I've never seen them repoped either and while not quite made of unobtanium, it's pretty close.

I couldn't find a set anywhere, so I ground the "fingers" off the one on the left side which seemed to be the only one that didn't fit. Then I bent it so it would fit down in there real well and sent both sides out to be chromed. Cost me about $30 to have both done. I didn't know that they supposed to be shorter though. :Dou:
