Anyone know of a source for a new wiper motor decal that has the part number and date code on it.

Or an idea how to make one myself. I think the originals may have been a foil-like material.

    Thanks

Check out item number 130832758327 on eBay. Maybe the seller can make you one with the numbers you need?

You can get them from Ames and they are really cheap! They are a new item, they may not be in their old catalogs. I've used them, they are very nice quality. They have the correct motor numbers on them depending on year built. They also have many dates to match time built.

Checked and they offer only what they have in stock. Thanks

They sure are cheap but unfortunately they don't have anything back to 1966 and they do not make custom ones. The search goes on. I found an expensive option for a custom made one for $45 but I drive a Buick not a Corvette:rolleyes:

Checking with one other potential source right now.

I didn't know you had a 1966. I don't think they started using the stickers until 1968. I went through this with my 67 GS400, I saw someone on ebay selling 67 stickers. There were no stickers in 67, the motors were stamped in yellow ink.

Good point. That might explain the absence of a sticker witness line on my original motor. One of my 67 Rivs had a sticker so assumed the 66-67s both had them. I never paid any attention to the date code back then so it could have been swapped from a later model car prior to me getting it. If no stickers in 66 that would sure be the cheapest solution to my problem.

    Thanks for the followup!

    No sticker on a 66.
