OK, so the Chicagoland area got hit by a decent snowstorm. I like snow but things happen that annoy me. My biggest snow pet peeve is when people shovel/blow the snow onto the street. Can you just put it on the curb like everyone else? Are you that lazy? What's your snow pet peeve?
The best is when the township comes by with the snow plow and berries your driveway so guess what ? I get the 26 inch 8 HP yard man tank snow blower with tracks I clean my driveway ONE guess where the snow goes .
That’s what I hate when I get the driveways cleaned out and the snow plow goes by and jams them up again. And I actually blow mine into the ditch, not back on to the road.
I hate when, once every ten years or so, it snows in Georgia and everyone makes fun of us because we freak out and shut down. We don’t know what to do dammit! Just like northerners when it hits 95* for two weeks and people die because they won’t open windows. Patrick
My snow pet peeve is when you order your snow plow about 3 days too late to clear the 10" of snow that fell. Then, it won't snow again for who knows how long.
I hate when you live in the area of town that pays the highest tax rates but when it snows the plow doesn't come for 3 days after the snow stops. that and I live on the corner so everytime ppl get stuck at the stop sign they come knock on my door as if i want to help you get your Prius out of the snow bank that forms from them plowing the main road. what makes ppl think they can drive a car like that through a snow bank that 2 ft wide and 2 ft high????? get a proper vehicle for the conditions for where you live
I don't understand the run on bread. Bread shelves empty. Does everyone fear that in the apocalypse, no one will remember how to make a friggin loaf of bread? I get fuel, fuel for the generator , fuel for the snowblower , and then off to the liquor store for my fuel. Ps: & propane for the grill , if needed... Jim/Rott
