I used to work for Rudd Equipment company Tim, I fix construction equipment. I have been in those mines as well. Never really got comfortable underground.

I really don’t mind the work, and going underground doesn’t bother me, either. It's rotating shifts every week that wears on me. Hard to get any kind of sleep schedule. Midnight, afternoon, daylight. In the winter, I almost don’t see any sunshine.
I have heard of Rudd. Are they still in business?

Our shop is located in Allison Park North hills . It has 160 working stalls. It is a (4) level facility . We own the Exxon service center beside us. And we also have Allegheny Autobody supply . Next to our Body shop. We have about 60 employees. We are smack in the middle of Duncan Manor intersection. Trump said we are HUGE

    dynaflow shiftless...

Was never able to get any heat from fireplaces even with glass screen...moment cracked damper, more cold air seeped in than fireplace radiated. Thought about using live oak in FL, but went with double-wall gas with blower, and just ventless gas and CO monitors here for holidays.

...been supplementing with wood since '73 (remember oil embargo?). Started with sheet steel stove in front of fireplace and slabwood from local mill (cost less than 1 season on oil...never looked back). Scavenged from property after slabwood got pricey. Currently using catalytic Dutchwest with blower. Catalytic significantly increases heat output with less wood...but be careful what you burn with combustor and use seasoned wood. Catalytics don't put much heat up chimney and damp wood can cause ice in outside wall chimney. Reversible ceiling fans in almost every room (Casablancas in family room have run constantly for 30 years) and turn furnace blower on to help circulate stove heat and keep heat pump electric backup from coming on.

Yes Dynoflow. Fireplace not efficient. Burn mostly in December/ January.
When it gets really cold Jan / February . I only burn when it is near 30*
