It feels good to be unique and different, doesn't it?

Not really:D - try finding a decent one of these!!! Even worse, you can't really roll up the Buick screen for easier/less costly shipping like you can the screens without the "ridge". You end up having to make a serious box to prevent damage as well since the box is long and flat. I sold one many years ago and had to make a freaking wooden box to protect it for shipping. Ugggh.

The cars that used the separate snap-in plastic screens seem to make the most sense.....maybe not as subtle looking as the finer mesh screen but oh-so-easy if you have to access the cowl/wiper area.

I know Patton, I can't tell you how many of those things I've seen torn in the boneyard. I always look for them. In the old days if the linkage messed up, people would just cut them with a razor blade. Many, many earlier A Bodys they are totally gone. Like MIA, like I don't even think people are aware they were there.

Just looked at mine again. The long ridge thing follows the contour of the car. There is/or seems to be a 3 x 3 inch raised area maybe 1/2 inch tall. I'll check the width, it finished on both sides. To look correct the width and mesh size would fool most all, present company excluded. Good luck.
