    Hello fella's,

The next problem on the agenda this weekend is my current situation with the windows//weatherstripping. A picture is worth a thousand words so I posted a few below... The first three are of the driver's side, and the last three pics are of the Passenger side. It's the same on both... If the window is rolled up when I close the doors, then the window gets hung up on the window stripping and does not create a seal... Problem is that it lets in rain and moisture.

The best I've been able to come up with is one of two things:
    1) The weatherstripping installed is for the incorrect application (i.e. it's made for the wrong car).
    2) Each respective side of weatherstripping is installed on the wrong side of the car (i.e. the stripping made for the driver's side is actually installed on the passenger side).

Is there anyone here thats in-the-know, and could help steer my efforts in the right direction before I start taking all of the stripping off?

    Thanks in advance,
    -Jared

Did you buy the car with the weatherstripping installed? I think both of your thoughts could be correct, but I would think if installed on the wrong side the front lower by the door would not look correct.

Windows may need adjusting. They can be adjusted in and out (and all other directions). Front and rear windows should meet the weatherstrip at the same location (both should be either on the inside or outside of the weatherstrip). To me, it looks like the rear window on driver's side is adjusted in too far (or front window is not far in enough)... but could be something else.

Thanks for the inputs guys.. I'll take a look at each of those ideas over the next couple of days... My plan is to spend my Christmas as a hermit in the garage working on the 'Ol Girl.

    Thanks again!
