    Very Nice!! That looks great!
I've a question for you... Regarding the vacuum powered actuator for the heat valve....
Is that a new one? Or, did you clean the old one up?

If, you cleaned it, how did you make it looks so good?

Bulldog,,, I just cleaned that one up... with a wire brush and then painted it.....

Tom,,, pard,,, I dont pay no attention to stuff like that unless I step in it.... and i have grown to love all the polar bears that live North of Nashville....besides, that car has ''patina'' ,,,, it is on the underside,,, it gets a fresh coat every time I drive it....oil and dirt,,, but i think I solved the trans leak it had with that cast aluminum pan ....no more big puddles....gotta get another one for the GS....''patina''??? I thought that was some chick......:laugh:

Doc - Is the tranny in the GS a ST-300? If so, let me know where you found the aluminum pan. Mine has leaked forever.

Engine looks fantastic! How long you had those valve covers on the shelf? Now let me see if I can talk you into a dual master cylinder. I lost brakes in a single cylinder 66 Barracuda when I was a kid, that's an experience that sticks with you, and I've done every car since!

It looks like you've escaped the "Hogans Goat" pricipal...I tip my hat.

Rhett,,, no,, pard , the trans is the switch pitch 400 that I put in the car.... I sold the 300 that was in the car originally....

just who is Hogan anyway???? does he know Chuck Roast????

nice work. It looks as if it has been replated with zinc.
I've got some zinc in spray bomb. I'm going to try it out.......

Hi Doc, What did you do for a rear bracket on the AC compressor?

Well,,,,John,,,, I used a simple, jake leg approach..... took a stock one and recut it to a contour that just barely clears the rocker cover and does not go over to the intake manifold.... so far it has held and done just fine.... [14 miles]:laugh:
If it breaks, I will fab one that is twice as thick and that will hold for sure....
The 2 brackets that I have hoarded from a 66 riv would not clear the Eelco covers.... but will clear the stock buick aluminum covers....that was a rude awakening....:Brow: Like my grandad used to say ,,, ''That will hold , till it breaks'' :eek2: HUH???
